Hi everyone,

I’ve been dealing with a set of unexplained symptoms for quite a while now — things like ongoing fatigue, occasional dizziness, and general discomfort that haven’t been clearly diagnosed despite several visits to different clinics. The tests I’ve had so far have mostly come back “normal,” but I still don’t feel well and would really like to get to the bottom of what’s going on.

I’m based in Dubai and I’m looking for recommendations for a doctor (preferably a general practitioner or internal medicine specialist) who takes a thorough, patient-centered approach — someone experienced in dealing with complex or long-term unexplained issues, and who won’t just focus on quick fixes or isolated symptoms.

If anyone has had a good experience with a doctor or clinic here in Dubai who really listens and investigates deeply, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

Thank you in advance for your help!

✅ Recommendation:

Dr Ahmed Alhasan – General / Internal Medicine Physician
Address: Al Barsha, Dubai
Why I suggest him:

  • He is based in Al Barsha (which you preferred) and is well‑placed for accessibility in Dubai.

  • As a general/internal medicine specialist, he would be suited for issues like ongoing fatigue, dizziness and complex symptoms that haven’t been clearly diagnosed yet.

  • I recommend that you bring all your previous test results to your first appointment, emphasise the broad nature of your symptoms (fatigue, dizziness, general discomfort), and ask for a comprehensive review — not just focusing on one system but looking at things like sleep, lifestyle, possible underlying systemic issues.

  • At your first consult, you might ask: “Which tests have not yet been done?”, “If everything comes back normal, what is the next step?”, and “Could there be overlapping or multi‑system causes for my symptoms?”

👍 Tips before you go:

  • Request a longer consultation slot (since you have a long unexplained history) so you don’t feel rushed.

  • Make a chronological list of your symptoms, how long they’ve been going on, any patterns (time of day, triggers), and bring that.

  • Ask about insurance coverage, especially for any specialist referrals or advanced diagnostics.

  • If after this consult you still feel unsatisfied, consider asking for a second opinion or a “diagnostic work‑up” clinic which specialises in unexplained cases.
